Slak Tor sighed to himself in relief more than fatigue, the beautiful elf still holding his hand, but he knew Tarakona would now settle down and stop causing trouble.

Bear led them back to the great hall where the Vulcan’s waited. However, when they entered the large chamber it was empty save one lone guard standing at the stairs to the stage.
Bear approached the single sentry. “Where are His Lordship and Her Ladyship?”
The guard saluted as Bear approached. “Sir, Lord and Lady Vulcan host dinner in their private dining room. The prisoners are now considered guests of the Guild and they request that you join them with the others.”
Bear nodded and turned. “Welcome to the Foundry, if you will please follow me, I will take you to Lord and Lady Vulcan and your friends.” The gruffness had vanished and he there was a hint of friendliness to his tone. “Sorry about before, but I was only doing my job.” He explained.

Slak Tor inclined his head. “Of course, I do understand.”
“Are you well enough to attend?” Bear asked in some concern. “I can take you to a place where you can rest comfortably.” He offered.
Slak Tor smiled and shook his head. “I am well thanks to Lady Tessaria.”
“Very well…”
“Please lead on, kind sir!” Cornelius added jovially.
Bear moved towards a door in the back of the great hall and led them down a corridor. They stepped into an entryway that led the private suite. The large warrior turned to his right and opened a set of double doors.
The group stepped into a lavish dining room with rich wood paneled walls and a long highly polished dark wood table and opulent chairs. Crystal glasses were placed at each setting of silver and gold plates and utensils wrapped in fine linen. A large chandelier of candles lit the room in warm light.
“Ah! There you are!” Vulcan called as he stood to greet them. “Who are the other two?” He asked noticing the warrior with a strange metal arm and leg and the mysterious lady by his side.
“Forgive me MyLord, please allow me to introduce my friends.” Slak Tor bowed. “This is Sir Cornelius of Doggshire, a dear friend and ally.”

He then gestured to the shrouded woman. “And, this is Lady Ravenhill.”
Lady Ravenhill curtsied.
“Well, please join us…” Vulcan said holding out a hand to the table.
Bear took a seat at Vulcan’s right as the others moved to empty chairs.
“Slak Tor?” Lady Vulcan suddenly spoke. “Are you well? Has Tessa healed you?” She asked in concern.
“I am feeling much better MyLady, thank you.” Slak Tor replied with a respectful nod.
“Good…” She nodded, happy with his answer.
“MyLady?” Tessaria asked.
“Yes Tessa?”
“Perhaps I should stay close to him, until I am sure he can recover on his own.”
Lady Vulcan smiled and nodded.” Yes, we don’t want anything to happen to him!” She chuckled.
The elf seated herself next to the dragon master as the others settled down for dinner.

“I take it the problem with the dragon has been resolved? That there will be no more violence or anymore danger?”
“Yes, MyLord. Tarakona waits at the entrance. He will cause no more trouble.” Slak Tor assured.

“Good! Now lets get down to the business at hand.” He placed his hands on the table before him. “Before we were interrupted, I was asking why we should turn over such a powerful artifact to you, if we even possessed such a thing?” He focused on Captain K.
K straightened in his chair.

“As I said earlier, we are on a mission from Queen Savore to retrieve the relics that will lead us to the Silver Skull. You must know we are not the only ones looking for it.” He explained.
“Go on….” Vulcan leaned forward.
“Emperor Ikanus of the Mede Empire also seeks the Silver Skull, but for entirely different reasons. I don’t think I have to tell you what he would do the skull.”
Vlucan’s face clouded and he sighed. “How does he plan on finding it?” He asked in a low flat tone.
“He has employed another relic hunter, a dangerous one.” K replied. “This man has found many artifacts around the world helping the empire gain power. The Emperor now funds his exploits… And with unlimited assets, he is gaining ground on us.”
“Who is this man?”
“An arrogant one…” K offered. “So arrogant he has taken to wearing a crown an is now known as “The Crown Collector.”
Vulcan’s cheeks reddened in a flash of anger. “I know who the Crown Collector is… That man cuts deeply into our business and needs to be stopped!” He growled.
“He may be setting his sights on the Foundry itself. He knows about the pieces we seek, but I have beaten him to them. However with a fleet at his command, you may have a very serious problem on your hands if he comes here.”
“Oh, I have fleet of my own, Captain. He will not take The Foundry, I assure you!” He suddenly looked to his friend. “Bear, send for Vessel please.”
“Yes, MyLord…” The large warrior stood and left the room.
Vulcan now met Captain K’s gaze. “Alright Captain, you have my support. We will give the artifact to you if you can retrieve it.”
“Retrieve it? The relic isn’t here?” Key wee asked.

Lady Vulcan shook her head. “No, the artifact holds power that leads to even greater power. The Silver Skull was hidden for a reason and we placed the glyph where no one dares go.” She explained.
“Where would that be?” Captain K asked.
“Devil Horns Island.” Vulcan answered in a foreboding tone. “A small island to the west of us made of volcanic obsidian rock and looks like the devil’s head is rising out of the sea.” He explained. “But, like Ma said… No one goes there because of its population.”

“If no one goes there, then how is it populated?” Sir Bentley asked, his brow furrowed in confusion.

“There is nothing there but the undead” Vulcan warned.
Cornelius chuckled to himself. “Undead…” He laughed softly.
“Its no joke Sir Cornelius.” Tessaria scolded. “My people are all to familiar with the undead. They do exist and are very dangerous!”
Cornelius became stone faced. “My apologies Lady Tessaria, but I only thought them stories to scare children into behaving.”
“No, they are real and I have heard of the Devil Horns Island. It is said that it was formed from a breach of the very hells themselves and harbors condemned souls from across the world.” She recounted the legends of the island.
“So, the artifact is there.” K said in an almost defeated tone. “Perfect…” He sighed.
Then a faint whisper was heard as servers began to fill their plates and glasses. “I will go and retrieve the artifact.”
Captain K looked up. “Pardon?” He asked scanning the table to find the source of the voice
Lady Ravanhill inclined her head in his direction. “I will go and retrieve the artifact.” She repeated, her dark eyes serious and unwavering.
