Vung Tau

Quick Trip Guide:

Via Traveltank@Travelbehemoth

I will begin by saying that this trip can be done in one full - day from Ho Chi Minh. At the time, I planned the trip for my girlfriend and I to see the most we could in one day in Vung Tau. However, in the interest of leisure and getting the most out of your experience, I recommend spending at least a few days exploring Vung Tau, if not for the number of relevant tourist sites available, for the great local food.

As this is a quick trip guide, I recommend this post as merely a starting point to planning a seamless experience visiting any number of sites in Vung Tau. Here is a quick list of 5 tourist sites and popular food locations to start with.

Jesus Christ atop Mount Nho

Ho May Park

Back Beach

The Old Artillery Field Sao Mai - Nui Lon

Chợ Hải Sản Market

The view from the Hydrofoil on the way to Vung Tau from Ho Chi Minh

Our trip began at sunrise in Ho Chi Minh. After getting a bite to eat in the morning, we grabbed some amazing Vietnamese coffee then were on our way to the hydrofoil. We took the Green Line. Before your departure be sure to check the weather and the latest reviews of the service provider you choose. The service record for these types of services have had their safety concerns in the past but continue to improve.
