First, prepare all of the materials needed:
- natural color cross stitch fabric
- pink fabric (thick and water repellant )
- embroidery thread (dark yellow, yellow, red, brown, light pink, light blue, and black color)
- scissors
- embroidery needle
- sewing thread (red and white)
- sewing needle
Then, the first step was making the cross stitch.The steps are
First cross stitching the 'made for measure' words with the double thread black color of embroidery thread.
Then, the light blue color on the top left. Complete it with the numbers and also lines, with black double thread.
Go with the brown color for the border of the top side of it, then use the double red thread for the numbers and lines, then yellow to cover the top side.
Use the double brown thread on the right side of yellow stitch.
Then go to the bottom part, use the double black thread for the numbers ( i shared on video how to do it in my last article) and then dark yellow for this area. Always start from the border part to make it easier to stitch.
For the right part, use light pink color for the area. Start from the border. Then complete with the numbers and lines (back stitch).
Last touch, complete all of lines that i haven't backstitched yet.
Then the cross stitch is finished.
Step two is sewing it into a cup coaster. First, cut the stitch and also pink fabric.
Then sew with the red helper thread for the cross stitch fabric like below.
Then sew with white sewing thread to join both of the fabric.
It's finished, released the red sewing. the cup coaster is ready to use now.
