Howdy friends, lots going on so I'm going to touch on a couple of things I find interesting just in case you might too.
Yeah, I get the newsletter from PCGS and I usually don't look at it but yesterday I gave it whirl and I was led to the PCGS Youtube, which I highly recommend. If you have any interest in US coinage and how it is graded this is the channel to check out. I watched a series called Grading 101 that was informative without being overloaded with info.
As you may know, I was pushing back in October/November last year, trying to get you to sign up to the alpha before the platform launched. Welp, it launched. I spent a solid 3 or 4 weeks over there in July doing all the right things. You know, reading, commenting, posting... the things. I ended up making about $20 in NRVE.
As you can imagine with a new platform there are A LOT of bugs and quirks to work out over there with the main one, in my opinion, being a self-appointed sheriff
running around interpreting the rules for everyone else and enforcing "justice". It's really too bad but I am sure it will work itself out. I'm just going step back form Narrative for a bit...
I keep hearing @senstless talk about Steempeak and he is no slouch when it comes to posting so you bet yer ass I wanna be like Mike.
This is my first post using Steempeak and I give two thumbs up!
I also got an app that circle crops pictures, not sure if I like it or not. I think I like having a background on most coin pictures. Here is the other side of that Canadian commemorative coin.
I believe that is just a clad coin but it is still pretty cool, does anyone have more info on this coin? Thanks!
