Rise of Tournaments
Season 4 saw the rise of tournament play along side of season play. It's lead to a fantastic start of sponsors coming along to help host tournaments. This gets them eyes and attention from our player base and it gets you money hidden in your cards and strategy. It's a great combo!
You can see the current list of tournaments Here!
Thanks to @berniesanders, @jarunik, @therealwolf, warriders.com, chib fighters, @hightouch, and a growing list of individuals, tokens, blockchains, games, and (d)apps that are pushing rewards up every day!
Season 4 Rewards
Season 4 rewards- We didn't announce anything as it wasn't clear what would be available at the time. We're still exploring what works best here, but for now you have 8 hours to win some beta booster packs!
- 1st = 100 Beta edition booster packs
- 2nd = 50 Beta edition booster packs
- 3rd = 25 Beta edition booster packs
- 4th-9th = 10 Beta edition booster packs
- 10th = 5 Beta edition booster packs
Season 5 Updates
We've pushed some changes today already that have already gone into effect.
- The winner/loser of battles will be hidden in the battle history table until the battle is viewed (or just click on battle details). This is good for people doing commentary on matches so they don't see who wins up-front.
- If you submit a team and your opponent surrenders or flees, it will now count toward your quest (if the team you chose matches the quest splinter of course)
- Gold cards will now show by default on team selection if they are higher level than the corresponding regular foil card
- Reward cards from quests or season end will now show 10 at a time. Once you reveal 10 then if you have more there will be a "next" button to reveal the next set. If for whatever reason you don't get to reveal the cards (computer crashes, accidentally refresh the page, get chased from your computer by a runaway rexxie) then when you next log in to the site it will show a message allowing you to reveal the rest.
Season 5 Balance Adjustments
None at this time. Some card tweaks are coming, but not for this season. We are waiting for more of the new Reward edition cards to reach higher levels and see more play before making any adjustments to those. Similarly, we're waiting on more data and numbers before putting in hard caps of the number of specific rewards edition cards. Each card will be limited, but we're not setting a number just yet.
