Life in the Canadian Rockies


I grew up as a mountain child, and no matter how many beaches there are in the world, the Albertan landscape is hard to top.

I did a solo road trip up to Jasper National Park in the Fall, backpacking my own backyard. The various, remote hostels were all uniquely different logs cabins with spectacular views, and some wild foreign guests.


As soon as you arrive in the park, you're greeted by the bucking wildlife.

The Weeping Wall, where the rock face is covered in gorgeous waterfalls:

And not to be missed, the Columbia Ice Fields (which are quickly declining due to climate change).
