Everyone is suspicious , until proven otherwise ?

Today i saw a post on the front page who got 1,000$ worth of SBD with this post essentially calling a developer of a new mobile app for steemit a liar

The user alleges that the developer claims of creating an app that went trough apple approval process and passed it are misleading and a lie .He also goes further by discrediting the developer , calling him an amateur developer and questioning his skills , and demanding proof by producing a app store link and further verify its use of the steem blockchain and network

But the important thing , isnt that the user questioned the dev claims or that he was wrong about the accusation (being that not all approved apps go to the app store , as some are simply sent to testers or put on hold until a eventual release in the future)

The thing is that almost nobody took time to think about the claims made by the user accusing him and verify them , instead almost everyone read the post and took the claims at face value , upvoting , and making the a piece made of unsubstantiated accusations rise , that we are seeing that witch hunts and flame wars are beginning to surface , and that while system has a lot more to do to encourage good behavior and participation , the community has also to begin to be more thoughtful about the content they read

Also , posts like would make it seem like the attitude of the community is rather unwelcoming towards users and developers ,making them go through a lot effort proving themselves to the community to be considered legit

Its not a new problem , some bitcoin forums and communities place too much importance on reputation and trust checks , make it almost impossible to conduct business and start projects unless you are a veteran and you provide a lot of details and proof

My point is we have to think twice before discrediting and flagging a user just because at first glance it doesn't what they post doesnt look perfect or because they are new . We need to stop and engage in a conversation and get the right information before

Not doing so can mean steemit will be the subject of brigading and other similar problems , just like any other network , monetized yes , but the actual user experience will not

Just thinking 30 secs before clicking down vote or flagging, abstaining to comment until we can say something worth while , and talking with arguments rather that trying "expose" users can help

Edit: Style and grammar , also is seems like he got nothing for its post so thats a good sign
