The Power of Many

If you are someone who has newly entered Steemit and getting used to seeing some authors getting a lot more benefits from this platform you are not alone.

While you are best fit to decide on the worthiness of your posts, you cannot deride another person's work in this platform; neither can you decide the true value of your creation/ curation - that's a lot of Cs & Ds 😝

Any platform has its own pros and cons. What works for you won't work for me and vice versa. With any good product, the there manifests an unique concept, to make it a level playing field. It usually takes time. With steemit I think this has come pretty early in the form of Minnow Support Project.

What really pushes the note-worthiness of your posts is quality of content and powerful votes. I think the former is of utmost importance. The later is not found today on steem, essentially because most of your followers have not yet migrated to steemit or possibly because its buried deep under this abyss called trending or hot posts!

What you need is a powerful ally. Possibly this powerful and resourceful at the same time! This is the delegated steempower of @minnowsupport!

What this essentially translates to is not just a decent boost to your (or your friend's) post payout, but also a huge benefit in terms of delegated votes i.e. a definite massive vote everyday.

To become part of this, you will need to join this discord community. If you are new to discord, I would advise you to try it out on the web or in your PC/ mobile. It is a simple chat client and will not take time to get acquainted with! Once you are in the #general channel please read the below pinned message to complete the registration formality:

You will be given instructions to transfer Steem to the bots with a specific memo. Once you do that type in the $register <YOUR_NAME> once again and you are all set. Yeah that's about it!

You can request for an up-vote with the bots simply by going to the channel named #upvote-resteem and typing:

$upvote <THE_POST_URL_YOU_WANT_TO_UPVOTE>

Do note that the above registration process is only optional process. You can still head to the #upvote-resteem channel and publish your post link for your peers to review and curate. In this way it is same to the other Discord/ steem.chat channels.

I think the only catch is the cool-down period after each time you up-vote something. This essentially prevents you from up-voting too many of your posts. I think the first cool-down ends in an hour and the next ends in one day (I might be wrong here).

Some might argue that @randowhale can pull a similar stunt, but if you do basic math and do a cost-to-benefit ratio comparison, the minnowsupport project clearly kills it! Not to mention the fact of so many other minnows at any given time on the discord channels! Who knows, you might end up accruing more followers in no-time.

So in short, by joining at PAL discord community:

  1. You get a powerful and dependable steem ally
  2. You have potential to gain huge followers
  3. You get to curate other minnow content, possibly helping another person in this process

If I were you I would spend my 0.001 Steem to benefit massively from the delegated steem power available with @minnowsupport! So what are you waiting for, go get yourself the best ally who can help with your minnow-steemit experience 🙂
