Greed and Abuse will destroy Steemit reputation(Read this Post and see how some folks who don't believe in hardwork cheat on the system!!!!!

I have been on Steemit since January 2018. I have found Steemit a great place to post content and also read other interesting content. I have had the opportunity to mingle with a number very interesting people who also have great enthusiasm for Steemit. I have introduced a few people to Steemit as well. So far, they all seem very happy to be on Steemit.

But here the problem comes ,
Steemit is a great platform that provides everyone with an opportunity to earn money from the content they post. This also presents opportunities to abuse the system. Because Some people are wondering why crap rolling downhill from some people that make a few thousand from some of the worst quality posts,. It is such a huge effort right now and it seems that those that a re winning right now have to create some kind of lottery fund to be seen. I guess thats unfair, it's like cheating on the platform.
And It has now came to my mind that Steemit promoters raised the level of expectations for people, I once read a post "within one year you WILL quit your job and be a full time steemian".

bytheway me i even quited it in one month,

Well that helps bringing quite good numbers of users to steemit but at the same time ,the platform can loose them in a short period of time because of unfairness on the platform,

How ? Well by the use of Voting Bots

Vote buying isn't illegal....as far as Steemit is concerned. Try that in politics or in business and its called bribery, influence peddling.

Well I Think Voting bots have just made sure there is a monopoly ish system on steemit.

I mean ,

It's not about creating quality posts from what I've seen as most people will tell you before u get started. it's about creating any kind of post and and Hire bots to upvote it like most people do here ,

i think there it's like someone is trying to cheat the platform.

Like you can see a person with a dish and swish in his blog post ! then after 5 mins you see a triple figure amount on the post, while another Person struggles to write from the heart and spends hours, and hours typing and scrutinizing to make the posts steemit actually need( quality content ) only to see a few cents stare her back in the face sadly.

For sure It's really sad and the funniest thing is that it seems to be uncontrollable.
Like who are you to stop anybody else from doing his thing ?

Do you provide the money he pumps into the bots to make sure he trends and actually has a mansion at the apex of that trending page??

No! ! Nope! You don't!

So we just have to chill and sit and watch everything happening while we hope things will change for the better in good time.
Honestly It is a shame to find out that this kind of activity is happening on Steemit. I thought that I was becoming involved with a group that was about the manipulation that i have seen on Reddit and others.

I know that there is always going to be a way to work the system, but for sure this is just unfair and buries To the new users who have just joined the platform,. Because it's like if they don't have $$$ to hire bots to pay for their posts ,that means their voice isn't worthy something. ohh danm i can't support such a thing
For sure I have seen some low-quality content on trending page and some high-quality content that Even don't have enough views. .

Bots can be used for good or for evil

I think a great solution is to actually have the bots approved and screen content that’s being upvoted. The good content should get whitelisted and the crap content should get blacklisted and even flagged.
Original content that is meaningful and adding value to the community should have a fighting chance and these bots allow that.

My Opinion On This

We can make progress without bid bots but it just takes more effort to create something of value. It doesn't necessarily mean your post will get the rewards it probably deserved compared to the volumes of crap being self-voted and bid botted to trending but at least you will have one the thing these shitposters lack. Integrity and sense of a job well done.

Sure, those things aren't going to pay the bills but, if we really want this platform to change for the better, we have to start with ourselves. I've never Hired bots to upvote my posts. i also dunno but Something just feels kind of messed about the whole system.

I think if we want the world to look at Steemit as a legit platform, we need to get away from this vote selling and buying because to be honest those things scream Ponzi scheme .

We should all have an equal voice with fair opportunity for rewards. What we have done by allowing bid bots is allow the sweat equity principle to go to the wayside.

We've basically said forget about working hard to create quality content. If you don't have $$$ to use a bid bot or self voting (injecting perception of value into your content using stake), your voice isn't as important than those that do.

Conclusion

The truth is not everyone can write, not everyone has interesting information to share, not everyone is smart. Steemit in purest form is supposed to eliminate those that cannot create competitive content and let the cream rise to the top. Vote selling services dilute the pool by allowing those with little to no talent, or those that are just lazy to dilute the content of authors that can write, put in the work and deserve to be noticed.
Because steemit is a new platform, let’s not damage its reputation with greed. If Steemit is to grow it needs to be welcoming to everyone and not just a quick to rich guide. Today’s minnows are the future of Steemit. Greed and abuse will destroy Steemit's reputation and value, which is bad for everyone, especially those with the most invested, which is, ironically, like the whales. Short-term greed will lead to long-term pain. I believe many of the whales understand this, I also believe many of the Steemit whales have good intentions. Only time will tell
.

Thank you for reading, please feel free to comment and share how you really feel about this existing greedy behavior on steemit, It would actually be great if you share how this greedy behavior can be stopped.
