Where exactly is #Steemit heading?

With all the hype over #Steemit, and it's recent tutorial product released on Warrior Plus.....it seems like the platform is going to start taking off with incredible speed.

My question is, how long will it last? I understand that #Steemit, with it's Steem Power is playing the long term game, and the interest rate is through the roof, but, what will happen when #Steemit becomes over-saturated, and is this even possible to do on a platform of this size?

What will the future of Steemit look like? When people sign on in the future....it will be so much harder to gain an influence and get the upvotes in order to make any kind of money. What about those people that got in early?

Will the value of just a few Steem Power be worth an insane amount in the future? So much so that it would be stupid not to get in now?

These are some questions i'm having about the future of Steemit.
