Steemit is something completely new in the social-media world, we always had ways for publishers to make money on their text and videos.But there was no such a great way to monetize it, all thanks to steemit!
However no website can compete with steemit: currently it is the easiest way now, to start any kind of publishing here,thanks to the growing popularity of steemit, i can see more and more people over here every day.
I have talked with my friends about the popularity of steemit, and suprisingly they usually said that they dont want steemit to be popular- they think it will be impossible to get anything from here, even with hard-work.
I do not agree with them at all,im very happy because i see hundreds of newcomers, so we will have more interesting articles. And the most important thing about big amount of people here, is that only the best article, will win the competition.
You need to remember that competition is always the best thing for people- thanks to it,they are constantly improving their content to make it better than other's people right? Thanks to it, we can see better and better articles here.
You cannot stop steemit-we can already see CN (Chinese) tag in top #10 of tags, but you should not be worried-remember that also more people may mean more votes for you if you are smart enough to get them :)
