This is a brilliant post. I could vote it 20times. However, although steemit was created to give a perfect opportunity to anyone, the way it runs depicts our society. The rich manipulate systems, some also help the poor and their are also poor people who hustle through and reach the top. My point is This is a matter of survival of the fittest Our option is focus on our strengths, beat those hiccups along the way and reach the top. Also remember that alot of times, a good brain beats hardwork.
So, strategize, when you focus on the seemly bad situation, then you will give up and be just one of the many that quit while those that perservered the same circumstances arrived.
Also most of those whales have money invested in steem so they start on a different level than us who get start with nothing and earn our first cent on the site.
The bots? Well if there are some holes in the system, don't see them as a threat, start to view them a strength, a means to something.
It will always be harder for a newcomer but who says the world is fair? Its not for the soft but the hard people.
