As Steem Becomes More Popular
Standing out among the ever-growing crowd of users on Steemit is become more and more difficult. As I said in my last post, Steem Power is an insane help in helping your posts gain visibility- and it's only getting more and more expensive as Steem grows in price. Why not take the opportunity now to invest a few bucks in these early days (and it is way early)? You're more likely than not going to be very grateful you did. Case in point:
I joined Steem roughly a week ago. Less, actually. The value of Steem has gone from about .76 cents to around $3.63. That is almost 5 TIMES the price in a WEEK. This means that if I had invested $3,000 in Steem, and shifted it over to Steem Power, that someone NOW would have to pay $15,000 just to reach the SAME Steem Power that I had invested back then.
Now imagine that the price reaches the $10.00 amount that many see happening before Summer's end. Jumping into Steem and trying to be visible, whilst others who have MORE Steem Power are getting FREE Steem every second, is like chasing a car that keeps speeding up...even having been dropped directly behind it!
You, have an opportunity here to get that head start now.We had roughly 300 concurrent users accessing Steemit together on the site at any given time on Friday. That is paltry compared to Facebook's count of 1.06 BILLION active users who accessed the site daily. That means that if you divided that number by 24, to match active users by hour, that you'd have about 42 million users on Facebook at any given hour. Now divide this by 60, to understand how many users are actively browsing Facebook every minute, and you reach about 700,000 users.
700,000 users are on Facebook, liking and giving AWAY content, at any given minute.
300 users are on Steemit, as of Friday (About double the earlier week's amount), EARNING money and getting ADDICTED to liking and uploading just one more thing. This means we have roughly to grow by 2,333.33 TIMES where we are now, just to catch up to Facebook.
It's hard not to radiate excitement. :)
When your Steem Power is big enough, you won't need to invest another dollar. All of the users jumping on board, and attempting to up their own Steem, will be way behind you, you big and sexy whale, you!
