2 JUNE 2018- this restaurant is quite new, I found this restaurant sometime ago when I have having dum sum in the same mall. The menu seen promising and interesting, which successfully draws my attention to try this restaurant. Therefore here I am today writing a review about it!
This restaurant is quite big in terms of how many branches they have successfully opened over the years. It's successful enough if you are able to have branch in a single country, but this restaurant have expended not only in Japan where its origin is but they successfully expended to Philippine and Malaysia. But enough of how successful they are and let's talk more about their history, believes and achievements.
I would considered writing it instead of showing these picture but I figured out you all will be more interested in the photo, besides that what's else can I add they already did a wonderful job telling their story.
#Before we start with the food, we found this on out table
In this dish there is the common ingredients you would expect to find in a tonkotsu ramen aka pork broth ramen. Ingredients includes fish cake, roasted bbq pork, dried seaweed, Spring onion, pickled bamboo.
What's special about this bowl of ramen is mostly it's wonderful texture of the noodles, thick, chewy with a little bounce. Broth has the right amount of saltiness and sweetness.
For this the ingredients are pretty much the same as the above dish, the only addition is that half boiled egg and spicy chile paste.
As for the texture of the noodles is exactly the same, the only different is that the broth had a spicier chile flavour. Not spicy enough? There is chile oil and chile flake at the table for you to intensify your ramen!
Once again ingredients and the noodles are the same as the first one, however the flavour is totally different. The broth is so flavourful with a nice nutty sesame flavour, extremely savoury.
The menu Is huge, therefore I'll only be showing those that I had my eyes on
This is definitely not your traditional tsukemen... Cheese on ramen?!! Come on I am sure you can't miss that(unfortunately I did).
Once again, there is a large variety of drinks but this is what I found worth sharing
Cold brew tea!! Not the most common way to extract the flavour of the tea. But still, I am sure like cold brew coffee it will have its own unique characteristics!
Their noodles! Like mentioned above, their noodles is what make the dish special. It's chewy, bouncy and thick. The secret is that they make their noodles in house! They even put someone I charge of making them.
Personally I find it very suitable for a ramen restaurant, it's a combination of old fashion colour with mordern design.
Food: very creative dishes, good noodles and wide amount of choices to choose from.
Price: it's cheaper than many speciality ramen restaurant
Atmosphere: elegant and pleasent
Service: stuff communicates well in English and Chinese language, very fast service.
