WHAT DO YOU CHOOSE??

A lot of us live our lives with our eyes on a prize, a bigger picture and with a purpose but we fail to realise that it's the little things that matter most.

God gave us humans the gift of freewill, to choose between good and evil, to have the ability to steer our lives and choose what direction or path they take.

The choices we make everyday do not just determine how our day works out, they determine how our entire lives turnout. God has shown to us good and bad, poverty and riches and even the most important- heaven and hell. He did not withold this gift from anyone, anywhere in the world but he made it possible that we ultimately define where we end up.

(NIV)Galatians 6 vs 7-8 tells us this :

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

The truth is we can choose to study the word of God more or remain lazy, we can choose to love one another like Jesus Christ loved us or we can live in war, We can choose to be faithful, loyal and honest to those we owe them to or we can be architects of betrayals and broken relationships. It's all a matter of choice . One thing that is certain from all of this is that any choice made has consequences, you reap what you sow. If you sow love and honesty, God will see to it that you reap same eventually.

I know in our world today it almost feels like there is no motivation to do good anymore. But the bible foresaw all these things and admonishes us to be brave and steadfast to that which we believe. It is not enough to say to someone that you love them when you do not show them that love.

We should never forget that the value attached to anything in our lives is the value we ourselves attach to that thing. This simply means we are the architects of our very own lives.

A lot of people in the world today complain about the circumstances with which they were brought into this world, but I feel it's up to each and every one of us to determine how our lives turn out.

We all have choices to make. Choose wisely!!!
