Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
According to the English dictionary, consecration is defined as the action of making or the action of declaring something, typically a church, sacred.
Dear steemians,
I believe that the greatest pleasure we’ve ever had is to long after God’s word and seek him with all our heart. Living a wholehearted life for Christ is more fulfilling than any other thing you can ever think of today.
I want the Christians and the members of the steemchurch to create a great influence to many who are lost. This can only be done by our wholehearted consecration to God.
Before this can be done, we also have to realize one thing:
God loves us wholeheartedly also
Our heart needs to stay awake to this incredible truth, because God cannot ask his children to do what he cannot do. Consecration to God is something we see little in the world today.
How many people can say they just want to consecrate on God and abandon themselves in his word.
I think that is the kind of life one needs to live, because the world is a mirror of luxury and also with many promises which we cannot get, instead all we get by pursuing these things is death.
People that claims to be Christians today are actually something-else from their claim.
Revelation 3:16
So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
All you find in churches today are hypocrites and church goers. The people are tired of lukewarm stories and lukewarm people. All they need is the real thing, the one thing to give their lives to that will truly make them alive inside.
God is looking out for consecrated people all over the earth today. People who wants to give thier 100% to God, people who wants to pray relentlessly.
Matthew 11:12
From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of God suffered violence and the violent take it by force
The word “consecrated” simply means: a sacred unity by force.” John the Baptist is an example of a man who lived a consecrated life.
In some recent post I saw someone talking about this, which is very nice. Today, we’re living in a neurotic age. The pressures on people today has mounted so high on them. In light of this, this is also the generation God wants us to walk in the greatest anointing this world could ever bring or has ever seen.
How can these things be done?
We need to set aside quality time for focused seeking after God in our knees, fasting, and devotion. Remember, You reap what you sow (2 Corinthians 9:6-7).
I want you all to recommit your life to Jesus today. Give him a chance to take you by the hand into a new life of consecration, a life of total and 100% commitment. Why not let joy of the Lord will be your strength? Come to Jesus today, and stay on the safer side.
