When you understand the difference between waiting for people and trusting in faith, many questions are answered.
"In fact, without faith it is impossible to please God, because it is necessary that whoever approaches God believes that He exists and that He becomes a rewarder of those who seek Him." Hebrews 11.6
A young journalist reflected on her routine. Almost every day, when I was on the way to work, she would stop at a lighthouse and see a man walking up the street and praying at the same time.
She thought: "I do not know why he does it daily and in that place, but it strikes me." For me, that attitude shows that he is not even there for what they are going to think about him or if they are going to judge him, and your faith above all.
What does that mean? That we only get to understand and value certain things when we feel it on our skin.
We live high and low. There are periods when everything seems to conspire in our favor; already in others, no. Everything seems to fall. Fatigue hits, be it physical or mental. We expect a buoy, but apparently it is not anywhere.
Only who you feel is you. But falling down waiting for someone to pull your hand is risky and, most of the time, you have to shake the dust and get up by yourself.
But that's where the real help comes in. It is something that we do not see, that is not material and, most of all, it will not disappoint us.
Sometimes we hope that others are with us what we are with them, only that life is not like that. It is difficult, many times, to accept that not everything we give will return in the same way. But when we understand that we are going to receive in other ways, greater and better, understanding why we are here on Earth is easier.
To know, in most cases, we have to go through suffering, feel alone and misunderstood. Because, generally, when everything is going well, the assessment of the essential is imperceptible.
