OBJECTIVE : let’s have a chat about p2p marketplaces with crypto!
this is one of my courses from skillshare, i’ve decided to compile all the clips into one long youtube unlisted movie as an experiment, it’s unlisted on youtube just here on the steemit blockchain (for now) and it will be interesting to see what traffic comes in, also google juice and seo
i make most of my courses pretty snackable so you can jump in wherever you see the section link (they jump in time in the video) they mainly last a few minutes each maybe you only need five minutes to get to the information you need.
i’m really interested in p2p marketplaces. i’ve wanted for the longest time to have an offering of a select number of services that i can do a live stream around, i’ve got a stack of ideas for my own personal projects but i have to make everything sustainable. by sustainable i mean that what i do has to at least cover the costs. i realise it’s going to require an investment from me to get going but i want the live streaming part to be a portal into the business side. i believe that’s where the future is going to be. the whole package.
you, the live video stream are the portal in, your social accounts are the verification and the promotion, validation if you will, those connections bring in other people looking for similar services and functions (you could apply this to most small business on the high street too i think) - i’ve watched glass blowers, car mechanics and such like using twitch as a portal to conversation, engagement and they not so weirdly some of them end up as customers. remember, where the eyeballs are. we are in the attention phase of grabbing peoples attention, facebook is incredibly good at this by learning how to deliver what the user has liked like a drug feed with more of the same thus keeping your engagement and focus there.
right now we have lots money floating around in these various crypto currency blockchains, value that is sitting in exchanges, wallets, people flipping and lending bitcoin, lots of coins and ‘value’ created in relative cyber space. at some point, people are often wanting to either change it to fiat currency (they currency they need in the place they are) to purchase the usual life requirements or they want to splurge on some new. positioning yourself in the attention phase and making the purchase phase as easy as possible, real time, from demonstration of making, to the order process, receiving the order, making the order live on stream, packing the order, sending the email to say it’s on the way to LOADING the order on the court you are taking the engaged viewer on the journey.
what do you want to do with your life? what do you love to do the most? what if you could be paid for you’re most passionate pursuits? love to draw, love to build, love to put your creative talents to work painting a wonderful scene or custom making 3d objects to 3d print? the world my friends is about to be your oyster. the missing link was the micro payment, now crypto payments, digital payments is covering that area. no more middlemen, no more frustration of wondering if the credit card is faked, no more chargebacks. all of the bullshit we put up with for over a decade that stopped that personal e-commerce dream from happening is falling away each day and every time a newer, faster blockchain comes out. the era of the personal, person to person provisioning of services is coming fast.
