Already a fan. I do think there are upsides and downsides.

I ran a test on my Instagram with a decent following rewarding people who commented quickly and consistently with some depth on any post I made and tagged with a particular tag, It often felt very fake though so I shut it down.

I think the biggest issue for me was I only wanted praise on my photography if it was genuine...so it messed with emotions and thus didn't work out well for me.
