My experience as an early adopter of Steemit.

Going to coinmarketcap and clicking on the Steemit logo is probably one of the best things i did this past century. Since roughly a month ago i got acquainted with a great community and and awesome new platform. I'm exited to be part of this journey and curious to see where this is going, to the moon might not be an understatement. @ned and @dantheman are doing an incredible job running this whole operation and i'm sure there's allot more they have in store for us so i wanted to share with you a few key points that have crossed my mind.

Increased social interaction.

Over the past week, Steemit has gotten incredibly crowded. The frequency of posts has gone through the roof, which is awesome! However, this creates allot of clutter and is often the reason why i miss many quality posts from top contributors. Having a personalised feed while maintaining the visibility of other users would be a massive help in reducing clutter.
Private messaging and comment alerts would be a great addition. I personally fail to respond to many comments in time as these often go by unnoticed.

I know i'm not the only one who looks surprised when i see posts that have garnered 50 votes yet roughly generate 10$ compared to posts that get 10 votes and accumulate 200$. It tends to interfere with the perceived fairness of the platform and might just be the crucial factor that jeopardizes Steemit's sustainability in the long run. However only time will tell.
I don't claim to be an expert on Steemit's underlying mechanisms but i do know that there are two ways for a user to get acquainted with the platform. Either the user posts something and is excited by the amount it generates leaving him in a state of utter bewilderment to which he sees no other option but to lock himself up in a room for the next four weeks wilfully ignoring social contact and personal hygiene. Or, he spends a great amount of time generating quality content only to find out that posts not half as interesting or elaborate generate more, leaving him disillusioned.
My point is that i'm somewhat concerned that increased inequality in voting power might exert a negative perception on future users.

OTHER THAN THAT THIS PUPPY'S ROLLIN!
