In the process of requesting the necessary authorizations to carry out the event in the municipal square of Maldonado, I was pleased to meet
Councillor Maria Acland.
Together we concluded that to find the neediest people we could donate them directly in a community dining room. In this opportunity, we visited the community of Villa Delia. Located on the outskirts of the city of Maldonado where more than one hundred people a day receive a plate of food.
Almost 40 kilometers of travel was more than justified
to find these grateful people.
Unfortunately, the wind blew the gazebo and broke a leg so we had to improvise
with an open-air street store.
Since we had a lot of clothes and not too many people attended, we are organizing a new donation in another community dining room.
