China's "steemit.com" block and its Impact
It is heard that China has blocked access to "steemit.com" and "steemconnect.com".
This is not surprising. China has already blocked global services such as YouTube, Twitter and Facebook to maintain its communist regime and it has long since blocked South Korean services such as "Line" and "Kakaotalk".
Assuming that China has really blocked "steemit.com", let's examine its impact.

As you can see from the above table, the number of visitors of steemit.com in China is 10th in terms of access statistics by country, but the share of visitors is only 2.1%, and the page view share is very low at 0.7%.
So IMO, the impact on "steemit.com" is actually very small. Of course, the decline in intrinsic value appears to be very small, but that and short-term STEEM price fluctuations may be a separate issue.
Of course, it can be a sad news for some Chinese prospective witnesses.
It was hard to imagine that global SNS services would be introduced into China, where communism-based censorship and control were too strong and domestic industrial protectionism was intense. So I am not surprised at this news at all.

따라서 개인적 의견으로는, 사실상 "steemit.com"에 미치는 영향은 매우 적다고 할 수 있습니다. 물론 내재가치의 감소폭은 매우 적을 듯하지만, 그것과 단기적인 STEEM가격 변동은 별개의 문제일수도 있습니다.
또한 일부 중국계 예비증인들에게는 안타까운 소식일 수 있습니다.
광대한 잠재적 시장을 잃었다고 보기에는, 애초에 공산주의에 기초한 검열과 통제가 너무 강하고 자국산업 보호주의가 극심한 중국에, 글로벌SNS서비스가 진출하는 것은 생각조차 하기 어려웠습니다. 따라서 적어도 제게는 이 소식이 전혀 놀랍지 않습니다.

한국의 경우 과거에는 접속자수 점유율보다 페이지뷰 점유율이 늘 높았지만, 디앱 관련 글들의 비중이 늘고 자동투표봇 사용자가 늘면서 페이지뷰 점유율이 크게 떨어진 점이 조금 아쉽습니다.
그리고 재미있는 점은 나이지리와와 아일랜드의 경우 접속자수 점유율은 불과 1%수준이지만, 페이지뷰 점유율이 각각 5.5%, 4.5%에 달한다는 것입니다.
특별한 변수가 없다면, 나이지리아와 아일랜드의 스티미언들은 여전히 활발한 큐레이팅을 즐기는 것 같습니다.
특히 아일랜드의 페이지뷰 점유율 증가가 놀랍습니다. 과거에는 그렇지 않았습니다. 아일랜드 인구는 약 5백만명에 불과하지만, 인당GDP는 무려 8만불이나 됩니다.
