Su floración se da en primavera e invierno. La orquídea **Sobralia** las hay de muchos colores: blancas, lavanda y hay mas de 100 especies en el trópico.Esta flor se da en el sol. Esta orquídea que yo tengo en casa es de la especie **"Sobralia Virginalis"** es de color blanco con amarillo en su interior. Según mi experiencia y la de los investigadores es una flor que solo dura un día es decir de corta duración. Esta me la trajo mi hijo @reinoldroberts de la montaña, en uno de sus tantos paseos que realiza.
