Welcome to Glorious Kids Academy.
We’re a school on Steem Blockchain, we’re pleased to bring to our friends here updates on how our first term session unfolds.
Our school was set up to help poor children and orphans who ordinarily may not have means to basic education, unfortunately not all the poor will have government assistance especially in developing countries like ours, so as a widow who has witnessed the pain of negligence, rejection and poverty, I’m using my building as a home and a school for this less privileged but promising children, placing orphans among us on free education.
Yesterday being the first day of this school session pupils turned out in good numbers, we had up to 100 pupils that resumed yesterday, hoping to see more from tomorrow.
Some parents who’s children didn’t make from holiday this past weekend due to circumstances arising called on the phone pleading for their children.
On our blog post last few days we put down our scheme of work for 1st graders, we’re also glad to bring to you our first term scheme of work for primary 2 pupils.

We have projects that we’ll love to accomplish this year; We want to build a computer hub where these children can do computer appreciation and as well learn blockchain and Internet.
Power supply is also a bigger challenge in our country, we’re looking at solar energy as an option or alternative to our blackout predicament.
Having said all that, we believe that these children will grow and have good stories to tell concerning their life.
