Steem Keychain Progress Update 3 - Localization

As promised in the Steem Keychain proposal, we will post regular updates to show our progress.

Version 1.7 is finally live and it finally brought up localization.

Apart from a few bug fixes, most of the work time has been dedicated to this feature that, after a big refactor, allows Steem Keychain to be used in multiple languages.
Nothing to setup, the extension will simply follow the default language of your browser if it is supported, if not it will default to English.

Supported languages

As of now, Steem Keychain is available in English, Spanish (translations by @healthrecipes), Korean (translations by @dakeshi), Chinese (Simplified and Traditional translations by @mimiruby) and French (translations by @stoodkev).
Thanks a lot to the translators and especially to @dakeshi that helped a lot with the testing and debugging of the feature.
We will keep rolling out new languages progressively, following the needs of the community.

Next steps

We will continue going down the list of features detailed in the SPS proposal, with a particular focus to the following :

  • Give support for multiple keys and multisig accounts
  • Give further support to Keychain integration to Communities

Feature requests

We are listening to the community. Do not hesitate to drop feature requests on our Github repository or contact me on Discord (@stoodkev#8281)

Thank you!

On behalf of our team, a big thank you to the community for helping us fund Steem Keychain through SPS.
