Being the best, of the best, of the best......
After completing Resident Evil Village, there was something extremely cool that caught my eye...... Apparently my Steam profile is amongst only 3.1% of players worldwide holding the "World's Best Dad" achievement. This means the game was completed on Hardcore difficulty (first play-through). Village presented quite a challenge, even to the experienced RE player. On the other hand, the game did give a handful of what I'd call 'handouts' but let's digress, this isn't a review.
Right now the second playthrough is being recorded, running "Village of Shadows" mode. An extra hard experience that would be damn near impossible completing without unlimited ammunition. It's a fitting title for the option. Videos of part one and two have already been captured. In the past, it was said that using YouTube would be a thing of the past. Shying away from that platform may still be possible once a digital video workstation is obtained. I love recording this amazing title. The game is fun, thrilling, and engaging to say the least.
There will be recordings of "The Mercenaries" in the future as well. That mode brings lively environments of bio-weapon killing to new heights! After completing each round with an A rating or higher, currency to gain unlockable items and new levels are achieved. Speaking of gaining things; holding this Steam achievement feels special to me. Special because it not only proves that I'm a Resident Evil veteran, but it's just so very rare. Here is a thought: what do you'll think of me turning the Steam profile into an NFT (Non-fungible token) 😋?
