And happily ever after...

Like the chinese gong,
Loud chimes,
The fast spinning world,
Racing hearts,
And all in between,
Locked in warmth of deep embrace,
Today time brings his ugly test.

He'd travel lands and clime,
To stand in valour,
And swallow the horror,
Of drenching souls,
And drilling hearts
In blood and cold.

She locks the hold,
For her failing courage,
How will she tell?
The gruesome tale of betrothal,
To her journeying lover,
Who she may never hold again.
Only time will tell,
Should happiness find her again.

Days flew past,
The news of vanquish,
Her heightened despair,
Betrothal in days neigh,
Her happiness in rot and decay,
Why has the earth chosen cruelty over love?
And feed her belly the juicy anguish.
Like the stray raft driven on currents at a waterfall,
Her love is gone.

The ship drifted to coast,
Ragged, drenched from frost,
The island feels familiar,
The soldier coasts home,
None but his love comes to heart,
He walks,trots and crawls,
A huge feast in view,
The lovers hearts collide again,
The moon smiled back as they eloped through the sweet smelling garden
