The player had been willing to put pen to paper for the club and a contract extension offer had been in the books. However, just when the player wanted to sign, the deal was pulled off.
It has now been revealed that the Gunners coach had been behind that decision. The coach already has a some players lined up while he wants to bring into the side and he thought that giving Ramsey a £185,000 weekly wage would cut the money available for the transfer period.
Manchester united, chelsea and Liverpool are said to be interested in signing the player. Arsenal would not want to sell him to a direct rival but rhe right money would move them.
