The funny thing is (for me, but not for all the other entries) that in last nights game, the very popular Okenabirhie did get the ball in the back of the net first after only 6 minutes but unfortunately it was disallowed for offside. That would have really seen me emptying the piggy bank but as it was, only the unstoppable @friendlymoose got a result with his 0-1 prediction.
Teams are going to start paying me to stop supporting them soon!!
Anyway, as close to Christmas as it is, there are still games to be played and today we move onto the quarter-finals of the English Football League cup....

As much as I hate to say this, I can't see Man.U losing this. They need a trophy and with their league form currently being so good and despite these League Cup games often throwing up 'dodgy' results, there is no way Everton, who will be concentrating hard on the league, will get anything for the match.
I'm calling 1 - 2 in favour of Man.U and the first goal to be scored by the recalled Mason Greenwood.
Simply write the name of the FIRST GOALSCORER and the CORRECT SCORE as a comment. Competition closes 5 minutes before kick-off which is 20.00 GMT.
The Small Print
In the first goalscorer competition, own goals do not count. In the correct score competition, it's the score after 90mins. Extra time and penalties do not count and the pot for each competition will roll-over if there is no winner. If more than one person chooses the same first goalscorer or correct score, the prize is shared and everyone gets a little upvote! It seems I also need to add, one entry per person. Don't forget the new rule that only people with a rep of 45 or above are eligible to enter unless they have been approved. The bonus will be added to any winnings ONLY if Leeds United win and/or Man U lose and all payouts will never exceed 50% of post payout. Other bonuses paid out at my discretion.
