TRANSFER NEWS: EVERTON SIGNS MOISE KEAN FROM JUVENTUS

Everton have announced the arrival of Moise Kean from Juventus to the Merseyside club after signing a five-year deal.

Kean who has been with Juventus since he was a 10-year old boy and developed through the ranks and finally made his senior debut in 2016 at the age of 16 scored 8 times in 21 games for the Turin club and also has 3 International goals for Italy.

His signing makes it the fifth signing for Everton and it appears the Premier League meant business this season and ready to challenge at the top level. He was signed dor a sum of €27.5 million (£25.1m) which could rise to €30 million (£27.5m) with add ons.

Everton announced the signing of midfielder Jean-Philippe Gbamin on a five-year contract for £25m from Mainz. Andre Gomes move was made permanent for over £22m after spending last season on loan from Barcelona. Fabian Delph made a switch from Manchester City and goalkeeper Jonas Lossl from Huddersfield Town.

The player had this to say;

"I am very proud and honoured to wear the Everton shirt. I will give my best to this team," said Kean.

"I was convinced to sign because Everton is a club looking to the future and so am I. I know about the size of the club. It has big ambition and I will work very hard to help us fulfil what we want to achieve.

"I am used to winning and I want to bring this winning attitude to the team."

Everton manager Marco Silva mentioned that getting a striker was one of the major things on their priority list and he is really glad to get Moise whos is still a young player but ready to play on the big stage as he is strong, fast competitive and possesses many other good qualities.

The Premier League this season will really be a challem\nging and interesting one as every team has been improving their squad. Even the ones that are known not to spend the cash such has Arsenal has so far had a busy summer transfer.
