Lampard and the Chelsea Team are sending a Message

Chelsea’s transfer ban appears to be a blessing in disguise as coach Frank Lampard has taken time to look towards the youth section and bring up talented stars who are repaying the faith he had in them.

Players like Tammy Abraham, Jason Mount especially are two talents already with a first team shirt in the team. Abraham is currently Chelsea’s highest goal scorer in the premier league this season and Mount is just behind the striker, planning his execution.

Many doubted Lampard’s ability to succeed at Chelsea when he was announced coach of the London team during the summer break. The England and former Chelsea player has not been in the coaching business for long and only had the privilege to coach in England’s 2nd Division. Just like Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid, Lampard climbed to the top of the ladder with luck and many thought he might not do another Zidane.

The thoughts of Lampard failing at Chelsea appeared to be just the truth after unimpressive pre season performances and a 4-0 loss to Manchester United at the beginning of the season. As the season progressed, Chelsea progressed. Striker Tammy Abraham became a prolific goal scorer with Mount, another youngster putting up impressive displays. Chelsea is currently on track to challenge for at least a second position as it seems consistent Klopp’s Liverpool are not looking to stop running anytime soon.

At the moment, it seems Lampard has prepared a Chelsea strong enough to compete for the title even with a transfer ban by looking towards the youth system and I think every other team should too.

Thank you for Reading
