Liverpool will meet AS Roma in the Champions League semifinals. It is interesting to note the comments of two important Liverpool figures, namely coach Jurgen Klopp and striker Mohamed Salah. Instead they only give sky-high praise for the candidate's opponent. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp hailed AS Roma as an 'amazingly good' and amazing team after the Italian club managed to slaughter favorite Barcelona 3-0 in the second leg of the quarter-finals on Wednesday (11/4) morning.
"They (Roma) are the only team of three teams (Champions League semifinalists) I've never faced before. They were able to play a good season after last season's transfer difficulties when they have lost not only Mo (Mohamed Salah) but also (defender) Emerson (Palmieri), "Jurgen Klopp told a news conference on Friday (13/4). "Until we face Roma (in the semifinals), then we will know everything about them. I watched their performance against Barca, it was amazingly good, "Klopp added.
