After the quarterfinal, from eight teams now only four remains. Congratulations to France, Belgium, Croatia, and England who have qualified after beating their respective opponents. The three teams has qualified through superb display of attacking football and team cohesion within 90 minutes, except for Croatia who had to win through a punishing 30 minutes extra time and a penalty shootout against the hosts team, Russia.
The Semi Final will pit FRANCE vs BELGIUM and ENGLAND vs CROATIA. It is such a waste that France and Belgium has to meet in the Semi Final as they are one of the favourites to win this tournament. However, this is a opportunity for either England or Croatia to spring a surprise later in the final. Croatia is the dark horse of the tournament, and England has an outside chance from the start to win it.
During the quarterfinal I made three correct predictions. I thought Brazil would be able to get through at the expense of Belgium, however they failed and Belgium marched on. So, for the Semi Final, these are my predictions.
