The Spanish Confederation has decided to appoint Spain's Luis Enrique, former Barcelona coach, as Spain's coach.
Enrique will lead the Spanish team to succeed coach Fernando Hierro, who led the team at the World Cup in Russia this summer.
The Spanish team emerged from the round of 16 from the World Cup, penalty shootout against the Russian team.
Enrique was coach of Barcelona before leaving in the summer of 2017. He was required from several European clubs, most notably Chelsea.
Enrique signed a contract with the Spanish national team, for two years.
