Well what a week it has been for Splinterlands and its loyal, long time players like myself!
When I first read about the SPS airdrop I thought that it was a great idea that ticked all the boxes re popular things crypto - NFTs, governance tokens, blockchain gaming. But I never imagined that it would become a substantial financial windfall.

I have persisted and fought my way through some tough patches to earn my best DEC earnings yet: 23,253. And with card prices through the roof and DEC trading at 5x its peg, thats a nice amount of money for playing. But more importantly it increases my daily SPS airdrip.

I am learning better when to use Scarred Llama Mage and Plado and getting impressive results with both. I am not doing well with Water Splinter despite taking Alric to level 7. I need to upgrade more of my water cards to match. I don't know what happened with Lyanna this season - very poor.

I'm very pleased to be getting 850 DEC a season for renting cards I wasn't using on this my main account. I should do a report for my @jpbliberty account which is doing very well renting cards while we wait for a Court date for the Crypto Class Action.
Splinterlands is now a serious money earner for players of my level and I expect the competition to continue to be very intense. But I'm pleased I can make it into Champions League consistently with my Deck and get those Champions Points for extra SPS tokens.
As always it is challenging and compelling - fun and financially rewarding at the same time.
