As many of you noticed, after the recent Splintertalk.io website update, all of our previous posts disappeared and SPT reward payouts were no longer occuring.
It now appears that Splintertalk is manually sending out the missing payments as of this afternoon!
The rewards for me included a post with over 9000 SPT on it - September Power Up Day - Powering up HIVE & SPT Too!
As you can see, all that SPT is now safe and sound in my wallet! The SPT is split 50/50 between liquid SPT and SPT Power. This is a huge relief as the 4600 SPT I earned on that post are worth about $81 USD at today's going rate on Hive-Engine. That's right, SPT is trading at a whopping 1.7 cents each! If you haven't started writing on Splintertalk, there's no better time to start than now!
I'm happy to see the Splintertalk team fixing the issue, but @kennyskitchen wrote a great post today about why that's not necessarily good enough and that we should have seen more (any) communication about the issue.
