Splinterlands Blast From The Past Reward Card Giveaway and Drawing for Last Weeks Card Giveaway

Splinterlands Card Giveaway

Each week I host a giveaway for one of the out-of-print Splintelands cards. Last week's post was for this Ettin Spearman card.

Another Giveaway

And now, the moment you've all been waiting for! It's time to announce the card for this week's Blast From The Past Giveaway! This week I'm giving away another out-of-print, original Reward Edition card, the Undead Minotaur.

Undead Minotaur_lv1.png

The Undead Minotaur was never one of the more popular of the original common Reward Edition cards. Even though he came ready to rumble with Double Strike at level one, he was slow and tended to die rapidly. Not surprisingly these cards were often burned for their DEC value when they were first released. But new rule sets such as Melee Mayhem and Super Sneak allow the Undead Minotaur to deal lots of damage while safely hidden among the second rank monsters.

Since these cards have been out of print for a while they have risen in price significantly. The cheapest Level 1 Undead Minotaur card is currently about $0.06 on the Splinterlands market. That means it is worth almost four times the 15 DEC you would get from burning the card. I don't know about you, but I'm glad I kept my Undead Minotaur cards safe and didn't burn any of them.

If you are just starting out and haven't been able to add a Undead Minotaur to your deck, then you should get in on this giveaway. The Undead Minotaur card will be sent to one lucky winner when this contest closes at post payout time.

If this Undead Minotaur card doesn't fit into your master plan for Splinterlands domination, or if you lack the skill to achieve victory with it, you can always send it to the burn chamber and extract the 15 Dark Energy Crystals locked within, but you'd be much better off trying to sell it in the market.

How To Enter The Giveaway

For a chance to add this Undead Minotaur to your Splinterlands deck, just leave a comment. Be sure to add your Splinterlands account name if it's different than your entry name. Only 1 entry per person. The contest will end at the 7 day point of payout for this post, when I will use a random comment selector to choose the winner.

Good Luck!
