Splinterlands Card Giveaway
Each week I host a giveaway for one of the original Reward Edition Splinterlands cards. Most of these cards have been out-of-print for almost two years, so new players can only get them in the market, and that can be pretty expensive. These giveaways are a way to help players build their deck for free.
Last week's prize was this Rusty Android card.
Now that the post has reached the end of the seven day point of payout it's time to spin the wheel of names and find out who the lucky winner is...
Congratulations to the winner, @vrezyy! You are now the proud owner of this new Rusty Android card. The card has already been sent to your account.
This Week's Giveaway
This week's Blast From The Past Giveaway is the original low mana monster. Before even the Furious Chicken showed up with his 0 mana, there was another monster who had only 1 mana cost. I'm talking, of course, about the Creeping Ooze.
With Slow ability and no attack at level 1, the Creeping Ooze pioneered the very successful "Low Mana Throw Away" strategy. Eventually the success of the Creeping Ooze led to the introduction of other ultra-low mana cards such as the 0 mana Furious Chicken and the newly introduced set of Chaos Legion legendary Fiend monsters as well as some great 1 mana cards like the Brownie and Flame Monkey.
From its initial release, the Creeping Ooze has been a popular card. And its market price shows that it remains a very successful card. Currently, the cheapest level 1 Creeping Ooze on the Splinterlands Marketplace are $0.96 each. That's a very good price for a card that was given away for free just a couple years ago.
How To Enter The Giveaway
For a chance to add this Creeping Ooze to your Splinterlands deck, just leave a comment. Be sure to add your Splinterlands account name if it's different than your entry name. Only 1 entry per person. The contest will end at the 7 day point of payout for this post, when I will use the WHEEL OF NAMES to choose the winner.
Good Luck!
