My Favorite Battle Of The Day 9/10/21

Sometimes You Just Get Lucky

Today's favorite Battle Of The Day once again involved one of my nemesis, Magnor. I can't tell you the number of times that big footed baffoon has squashed my team. But today was different!

At the start of the match Magnor strolled confidently, almost smugly, to the center of the arena. He smiled, almost daring my team to attack him. He was big and bad, and he knew it. My Feral Spirit and Elven Cutthroat took the bait and suddenly

Magnor was transformed into a raging hulk! But luck was with me today, because on a last second whim, I had switched out my Silvershield Archers and replaced them with my Halfling Alchemist. One touch of his special blade left Magnor a shell of his former self.

Round 2 started with a much more subdued, but still dangerous, Magnor leading my opponents team. Again and again he was attacked by Sneak attack trio. But Magnor had a lot of help behind him every time one of my team would destroy his armor, once of his teammates would repair it. If I managed to get past his armor and draw blood, the Beetle Queen would heal him

Finally , by the start of Round 3, Magnor was on the ropes. One final attack by Feral Spirit and he was no more. But what should step up to take his place? A heavily armored Gloridax Guardian. Once again we traded blows but made little headway due to the relentless healing and armor repair provided by my opponents back ranks. Ant then, the Halfling Alchemist worked his chemical magic and the Gloridax Guardian's attack was muted.

Round 4 saw the center of battle shift to the ream of my opponents team as my Silvershield Assassin, Feral Spirit and Elven Cutthroat all concentrated Scale Doctor.

The Scale Doctor was no easy target and at the start of the 5th round, he still had lots of armor and over half his health. But once again my Sneak specialists concentrated their attacks and sent him to the locker room.

With my opponent's attack damage severely muted, my Halfling Alchemist became an impromptu tank and gave the Sneak Squad a chance to work their assassins magic as the dealt next with the Beetle Queen.

Round seven saw the Beetle queen go down quickly and then the Flame Monkey was targeted.

By the start of Round 8, the writing was on the wall. Flame monkey was poisoned and soon to die. Then the Furious Chicken would quickly fall and finally the Gloridax Guardian. It would take a few more rounds, but at this point, it was inevitable and victory was mine!
