Hello everybody, today I wanna share a battle I got against the user SFDSVD were I used a Death team of 3 Monsters against a Team of 6 Earth Monsters.
Details of the Battle:
• RULE SET:Standard (No modification to the standard gameplay rules and mechanics)
• MANA CAP: 19
• ACTIVE ELEMENTS: All
MY LINE-UP:
• Summoner: Contessa L’ament. I was between her or Thaddius Brood, but I ended up choosing the Contessa because of the Mana Cost.
• Monsters (from first to last):
Cursed Windeku

THE BATTLE:
There were not changes of Stats before the match.
ROUND 1:
• Venari Scout beats my Death Elemental
• Hill Giant attacked my Cursed Windeku and because of Thorns effect, is taken out of the match.
ROUND 2:
• Cursed Windeku takes out Mycelic Morphoid
• Dhampir Stalker takes out Venari Scout
ROUND 3:
• Cursed Windeku beats Goblin Thief
• Dhampir Stalker eliminates Khmer Princess
ROUND 4:
• Finally, Cursed Windeku attacks and beats Child of the Forest to get me the victory
In this battle we have seen how valuable is Cursed Windeku as a tank. Before the change of cards there was available Haunted Spirit that was the most used by people including me, but Windeku ain´t got nothing to envy this card because of the high amount of Health, Speed and the Ability it has.
It is a pretty difficult card to beat in a direct encounter without taking too much damage as I said in a last post, you need Monsters with a high amount of Armor, Health or an ability like Shield. Giant Hill, Goblin Thief or Mycelic Morphoid despite being useful in other situations, are just taken out in less than two turns against Windeku because of this.
Dhampir Stalker wasn´t bad either although it cost a lot of mana. Because none of SFDSVD´s Monsters got Armor and most of them had 3 of Health or lower, in just one shot they were destroyed. Great card despite I do not use it pretty much in battles.
Finally, I think that if I didn´t put Death Elemental on the team I would have lost.Why? Because it absorved two Attacks of Child of the Forest which in other scenary where, instead of putting a Ranged/Magic Attack Monster I put a Meele one, those attacks would have gone to Dhampir. But on the other hand, Windeku still had half of Health, so maybe he would have carried the match anyway.
