Here is my own version of the Ruler of the Seas in Splinterlands game. It is an animated pixelart. Its hair is animated and lightning strikes were also added.
PROOF OF WORK
I started working on its head and the yellow band.
In this part, the gills were added. I am not sure if I got the correct term.
After that, I started on adding its right hand and some piece of cloth.
Here the outline of the body and hands were done.
Putting color on its face. Its face has the shade of gray.
Doing some shadings and accent on the head part.
Its clothing and head band were colored. Its eyes has the shade of red.
Then I did some shading and shadows.
Putting its extra accesories.
Then I started on making its hair. Which has different versions because it will be animated.
Before I proceed into making the other version of its hair. I finished the details on its mouth.
Here I created the other version of the hair. Then we can also see some lightning strikes.
The duration of the white lines will be just short to get the effect of a lightning strikes.
