I am very interested in ancient medicine. When planning a trip to Europe two years ago, I had to find a monastery that preserves both the traditional medicine and the cradle of christian spirituality. One of the places where meet the requirements was Antica Farmacia-Erboristeria Sant'Anna in Genova.
In ancient western medicine, there are various essential oil pharmaceuticals developed from four elemental and humor theory. It was the fusion of ancient Indian, Islamic and Greek medicine. I especially want to study philosophical backgrounds and its application that make the combination of herbal oils, mixture of ancient science of spirituality, ecology and astrology.
Now it also adds up the theory of Chinese meridians.
