Challenge fulfilled, step by step caricature of @naideth

Hello my dear friends of steemit,

@dianita is happy to introduce you another new post

I am very pleased to present this my new post, I am grateful to all of you for your massive support day by day, to read and vote my post, I am happy to belong to this incredible platform, I have learned a lot from steemit, and today I'm still learning, trying to improve every day, I must confess that making cartoons for me before was a challenge, once I was taking confidence, I perfected my technique, make female faces has a fairly high level of complexity , nevertheless we always have to take risks, in my previous cartoon, @naideth, he proposed me if I could illustrate it is to do it in vectors, and as I like the challenges I wanted to accept it, without knowing what I could do, contact me via discord, and we were holding a long conversation, between congratulations, I began to give him the requirements to be able to do the caricature, I asked him explicitly:
  • A medium flat photograph
  • With good light
  • Considerable resolution

Once I received the photos proposed by @naideth I fixed myself in one that could be useful, and started.

Here is the cartoon.

FACE FEATURES

The tonalities of the face will never be the same when cloning the referential image, since there are thousands of alterations due to lights, saturations, or contrast, to know the indicated color I made a palette of relatively dark skin colors, and I found one that I would fit in it later on we will see it.

Referential image.

@naideth, young Venezuelan, passionate about soccer, if you like to go through your blog, you will be delighted with the kind of talent that this girl has, she is a cartoonist every drawing that goes up is shocking, maybe in the future we ally ourselves to make a drawing and then pass it a caricature. she is a brunette with well marked and simple features, I must confess that some elements are difficult but I knew I did cope.

Now if we start.

Step number 1

nay1.1.jpg

We create our respective work table in Illustrator CS6 or the one of your preference, we place the referential image and on top of it we begin to vectorize piece by piece.

Step number 2

2.jpg

We add significant features, and elements such as the tufts of hair and the details of the shirt, the expressions and shadows.

Step number 3

nay2.jpg

Here I began to add color, guiding me by the reference colors of the photograph.

Step number 4

nay3.jpg

I put the shadows and details and the caricature will be ready.
