I have been on the fence for over a month now on whether or not to make this purchase. After the huge debacle that went down during the releases of the Morgan and Peace dollar releases.
While the Morgan and Peace dollars are two of my all time favorite coins. There was absolutely no way that I was paying $85 plus shipping for three quarters of an ounce of silver. Not with those mintage numbers.
But after much deliberation with myself, I decided to buy the special two coin reverse proof American Silver Eagle set yesterday. I love reverse proof coins to begin with. The total mintage number on these sets is 175,000. Which isn’t a small number, but is only about half of the Morgan and Peace dollar releases.
The household limit was one set, and this was sold out in just over an hour.
I have received confirmation of my order. So I am officially going to receive it.
