Vintage round auction win….

Afternoon everyone …

I’ve been my spending my late nights viewing coins, vintage bars and vintage rounds on auction sites lately. The spot prices while they are coming down of recent days, are way too high for my buying zone. Vintage bars and rounds, as well as coins don’t really get affected by the spot prices.

I came across several pieces that I was interested in. Unfortunately all but one of them sold for more than I was willing to spend or thought they were worth.

But I did win one vintage round. It’s not a very common round to find. Up until it arriving I had never seen one in person.

It’s a 1973 International Mint Corporation Mundinero silver round. In my research on this piece, which there isn’t very much available. The little that I did find said the original mintage was under 2,500 of these. It has a very classy design to it, and is in fabulous condition. There most likely is less than 1,000 of these around after all these years. And who knows what condition most that are still around look like. Probably not most are not this nice.

Another lovely addition to my vintage silver round collection. Hopefully at some point I can put them all together.
