Stacking or Collecting

Stacking or Collecting?

When it comes to silver some people would ask what's the difference? There really is only one thing different between the 2.

Stacking

We will start with stacking. You see stacking is collecting with no emotional ties to the silver. You are just adding weight to your pile of silver. Its a pure investment, it has no sentimental or emotional value to you. It is basically melt value.

Thats a stack, means no more to me than the value of the silver. No emotional or sentimental attachment.

Collecting

Now here is where the stackitis kicks in. This is the dangerous part of adding silver to your pile. Couple of reason why, 1st you are attached to it. 2nd price doesn't matter.

There is 8 total. Each one is 5 oz.

So becareful with collecting. It can get expensive.

No on to my prize collection. It is probably by far my favorite piece of silver. It was poured by myself and there are less then 10 running around. This one was the prototype.

It was casted in delft clay and hand poured part of the reason the back is smooth with no pour lines.

Well anyways stay stacking my friends.
