Hello friends, this is my entry for @melinda010100 SMASh Shadow Hunters Contest Round 187 via my smartphone HUAWEI P30 lite. Thanks and its my pleasure to partake this shadow hunters contest.
I had collected pretty white herons shadows photos on the way of my travel. There were also many tress shadows reflected on the herons and the ground. It was sunny day so everything looked more pretty. We know white herons are sociable and quite confiding birds. So when they are nesting, invariably nesting in long-established with their heronries. Most heronries are living in trees, with the majority of nests at least 25m above the ground. Then they will also nest on cliffs, bushes, sometimes even on buildings of bridges. Herons are long-necked, freshwater, coastal, non-swimming birds. One of their most distinguishing features is that they retract their necks while flying. I like these type of heron for its nice activity and beauty. Have a super weekend for all dear friends with different types of shadow hunters creativity.
