Late Night Arrival At Gedser

After eleven hours of good sailing we arrived at 9 PM in Gedser (Denmark). This marina was almost empty and so we docked Maranea at the head of the landing stage. The picture was taken at 10 PM, half an hour after sunset.

The next morning we left at 7 AM already - sailing requires the crew to align with the winds rather than with the sleep pattern.

I found that I can quite easily use this bit of learning for other aspects of my life. The more I am willing to change my plans and priorities and adapt to the forces around me (winds, current, tide, crew preferences) the less energy I need and the more I can go with the flow.
