SEAPHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST • WEEK 128 • SEA and SEASCAPES.

On Sunday while on my walk along the Byron bay coastline , i was thinking to myself what can , i do to entertain myself on my last two walks along the coastline , i entertained myself by finding and photographing different sea shells on one occasion and rock shadows on the other occasion but today i was looking for something a bit more challenging and then it came to me , i had decided to play chicken with the crashing waves my aim was to get as close as possible to the waves crashing on the rocks and capture a photo without getting soaked by the splash of the wave.

So the challenge was on and as you know with most smartphones you can almost achieve the impossible if you know and understand your phone camera what i was going to do was get up close to the in coming waves but just be far enough from them in order not to get myself soaked or my phone so timing was a essence and with keeping my finger on the phone camera trigger it would take about 30 shots in a matter of a couple seconds as the wave was cashing and splashing up against the rocks and this was the results , i achieved like a slow motion action movie in slow intervals.

Of course , i didn't know how this camera shutter affect was going to look like or turn out like till , i downloaded these photos and to my surprise , i was quite amazed in how this phone camera captured these sequence of motions as the waves were crashing onto these rocks and water splashing in every direction it made me look like a professional photography and i also manage escaping not getting soaked. Of course i repeated this a few times and ended up with a stack of photos this is another sequence set as the sun starting falling behind the horizon was my last set of the day before heading back home.
