SEAPHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST - WEEK 127 - FISHERMAN of NATHON BEACH.

I remember been on Nathon beach in Thailand and walking along the shore line of Nathon beach observing all these long-tailed fishing boats by day and early night they reminded stationary on the beach but by early morning these boats would be hard at work with their masters hauling in them catches. These hard working, friendly fishermen would be up at the crack of dawn like about 2 am to prepare there fishing gear and would be out in the open waters by 5 am and there they would stay for up to 6 hours toiling in the burning sun or torrential rain , who said a fisherman's life is easy it's one of Asia's toughest job but normally these fisherman are born into the families of these fishing villages and know , no better but to carry on the fishing life tradition.

Most of these village fisherman start at a very young age and by the time they are around 40 years of age already they look about 60 years old having spent all those years at sea in that burning sun wrinkles you up over the years it's a hard back breaking job hauling in all those years of catches by hand it does some serious damage to you hands they end up with stiff fingers , calluses, cracks and all sorts of scars over them and they are hardly rewarded in a big way doing this taunting job but they know , no better they love fishing and the sea is there life.
